What are the best Hostels?

I have stayed in many hostels in London and my recommendations are as follows:

• Generator Hostel - with accommodation in London and Berlin, the Generator is the fun, lively place to be when looking for cheap accommodation
• YHA London Thameside - a great London hostel that was both enjoyable and clean

I have stayed in many hostels in New York and my favourites are as follows:

• Big Apple Hostel - a great place to stay for anyone visiting New York City

Hostels in Rome are superb and also provide a good value holiday with local culture thrown in.

I will add more to this list as I travel round the globe.
